Hi Martijn

Thank you for the link.

Could those old installers be taken down or at least moved to a 'old' folder ?

I'm new to this, so I am a good example of how a new user works. I use
google, or I visit the homepage, and then I download and install.

As that installer version doesn't work at all, it cant convert WAV
files, I suggest to delete it completely.

Regards, Jonny

Moving them will break links, and they should be kept for future
reference. The installer works properly on Windows XP and
earlier, it was broken because of the UAC introduced in Vista.

Hi

Is it worth adding a clear warning?

Are you aware that no one should be using win xp? I think no point wasting
time focusing supporting such out of date OS.

After my flac frontend quit working, I installed the xrecode app, paid small minimal fee for it or so on the internet. It?s offered free now. Works like a charm, and can convert
many other types of files as well.

I've installed xrecode now.
Its great , thanks Mark.

Unfortunately the "FLAC Frontend" uninstaller is also broken - its
still installed, even after reboot.
.. another good reason to delete it off the internet.
